    Computer

I have to tell everyone about Dropbox just in case you haven’t already heard. This is find of mine that I’ve been using for about a year now since they invited me to do beta testing. I have to say that even during the beta I had nothing but great things to vouch for dropbox. This software is used to help sync your data and share it with family, friends, or even co-workers when collaborating on a project or just sharing files. Dropbox gives you 2gb of space for free, that you can use to store files, pictures, and movies on to the dbox server and it will automatically be synced with any computer you give permission to.

The screencast that dropboxes uses to introduce themselves explains everything in a way that’s more visual then I can do in this post so check it out here: Dropbox Screencast

The only I say that maybe hasn’t been said is just the variety of uses dbox can have. If you work with clients, if you share photos, videos, or files with family and friends, if you coordinate projects with coworkers or groups for school projects then dropbox is for you. The ability to have each persons files and revisions available and updated in one place is great, not to mention the fact that dropbox logs your changes so that you can always go back and get a previous revision. So for those reasons I again say that dropbox has my vote for one of the top additions to the web.
